The Reconnect Peer Network
RISE is a mobile app that is designed to connect adult students with their college peers. The program emerged from a simple observation: traditional student support systems often miss the mark for adult learners. Our team recognized that adult students need flexible, responsive support that acknowledges their goals and motivations.
Rise is an innovative approach designed to transform the educational journey for Reconnect students. Leveraging the power of technology and science on peer groups, we created a program to build powerful connections that drive engagement and increase academic success.
Our Approach
The peer group model helps students to provide academic, social and emotional support to their group members. RISE serves as a valuable resource for the Reconnect program, benefiting colleges by boosting campus belonging and promoting student success.
Small Group: 4-5 students per group
